YES, I am aware it is the corps that make the rule changes. Not to take anything away from Gold or the Grennies, but I think that argument could have been made last year. After all Alliance went into Prelims in the 11th place spot... so they have actually been the closest corps this far to challenge for a top 10 spot (Class A, that is). TenorsForWorldDomination Posted August 19, 2009 Share Posted August 19, 2009 I still stick by Grenadiers on top despite Gold's higher score. They really aren't sitting in 1st place, no one is really. Those scores were from two different shows which don't compare at all. Only prelims and finals will settle the score on who comes out tops. It's apples and oranges to compare two shows' scores with each other. Add in the mid-west show this weekend and now we have a nice fruit salad. Don't ask me why, can't give you a better reason than "just because"...but if I say something about lemons I'm sure they'll take it the wrong way...So I have to go with sweet tea!
