victrussell
Is it just me, or do the Colts brass mostly stand still or move slowly when playing. Vic Russell Edited July 12, 2009 by victrussell
supersop
I picked up on that as well. I can almost understand the tuning issues with the level of difficulty in the drill. It should fix itself by the end of the season. this really isn't drill induced. It's like half of each section is almost a dime flat on every note. CrownSopAlum
Colts show just impressed me big time. The hornline sounded great! By the way, hi everyone - new guy here. :-) Been lurking for a long time, just the other day I decided to create an account and join the fun. arno0940
Colts - I think I have them above the Troopers tonight - but it will be close. The Colts visual design is what is holding them back (same as last year IMHO) - so much pontential and talent - a much more demanding visual show could be given to the performers. The Colts standstill and play too often - lets get moving!

Horizon
I picked up on that as well. I can almost understand the tuning issues with the level of difficulty in the drill. It should fix itself by the end of the season. Except it was probably the worst at their hit in the ballad when they weren't moving. WAY better than when I first saw them. Better than the Troopers right now.
ContraFart
Colt have a great sound, but I hated the drill design. The drill designer almost never took the corps out of 2 step intervals. I think the made the drill feel too tight, and a poor use of space.
