oldbandguy
We have a big show on Saturday in a dome, another coming in Atlanta, and possibly a closed roof dome show in Indy. Do any of you think there is a show that is more "dome friendly" than others? To me I see the Cavies show working VERY WELL in the domes. Any thoughts? cmathis
I think SCV's show would sound very good in a dome.
patblamo
I guess the Cavies echo will be staged and real. Edited July 12, 2009 by patblamo

IMcomguy
What the deuce? What makes a show "dome friendly?" Playing towards back field. Long chords. Amps, etc. Yes, Lucas Oil has lots of reverb. I was there for ISSMA State Finals, BOA Indy, and all 3 days of BOA Grand Nationals last year. Those of you that had any expectation of the acoustical issue of the RCA Dome being alleviated will be disappointed unless you're sitting in the 100 level. With the roof being more than likely closed (this is the only major pro stadium with a retractable roof that DOESN'T have any sort of drainage system), it may be a tough pill to swallow for those hard core DCI Finals fans of the past. My vote although it won't matter, move it back to Bloomington! :) Outstanding venue. Great atmosphere. Perfect location. DCI fans happy.
