Skylinersop16
So in keeping with all of the analysis on DCP this summer, I constructed the top 10 for both Open Class and Class A based on their highest score ever achieved at FINALS. I'm pretty sure I got the highest score for each corps. Correct me if I'm wrong. Open Class 1) 2002 Syracuse Brigadiers - 98.600 2) 2005 Reading Buccaneers - 98.450 3) 1998 Empire Statesmen - 97.900 4) 1995 Hawthorne Caballeros - 97.700 5(t) 1990 Bushwackers - 96.900 5(t) 1996 Westshoremen - 96.900 7) 2008 Minnesota Brass, Inc. - 96.513 8) 1988 Long Island Sunrisers - 96.360 9) 2008 Connecticut Hurricanes - 94.913 10) 1990 Rochester Crusaders - 94.000 A Class 1) 2007 Long Island Sunrisers - 83.988 2) 2001 CorpsVets - 83.750 3) 2007 Govenaires - 83.188 4) 2008 Alliance - 82.750 5) 2007 SoCal Dream - 82.513 6) 2008 Fusion Core - 82.463 7) 2002 New York Skyliners - 80.150 8) 2004 Kingston Grenadiers - 79.850 9) 2008 Chops, Inc. - 79.225 10) 2003 Heat Wave - 78.600 Edited August 10, 2009 by Skylinersop16

They also took every single caption that year too.
TomPeashey
I'm quite flattered that my 1990 Crusaders made the top 10 Unfortunately, that proves the point that your evaluation is only close from the mid 80's on due to system changes... certainly 80 bucs, 72 Cru and others belong on the list of top

In 1986, The Sunrisers did NOT break a 90 all year. (I was there....I know) I think this score could be from either 1988 or 1989 But thanks for including us there!!!!! JohnZ
in 1986 the Bushwackers won with a 92.450.
KeithHall
That corps had so much potential to do it all with that horn line especially. Might I add that we had a darn good Drum Major too....Beth Fabrizio. Skylinersop16
Sorry about Sun, it was 1988. As for the Grenadiers in 2004, I am going by what the DCA site said for finals. According to them it was a 75. (Although CorpsReps has it as 79. I will fix it later.

Weird, I can't quite remember which one is accurate, but by pure speculation I would assume the 79 is. They got a 80 the previous night in prelims. I can't see them dropping 5 whole points the next night.
Skylinersop16
That's my thought. I can't even think back to it because I didn't go to finals. I stayed back at the hotel after we didn't make it in. I'll add the 79 to the list.
