Swine
Madison WON the title in '75. Their lone loss was at DCI Midwest prelims. (Madison lost 2 contests in 1975: DCI Midwest prelims and finals to SCV.) http://www.fromthepressbox.com/19750802dcimidwestfinals.htm Edited August 13, 2009 by Swine
Northern Thunder
I never noticed that Gregg has that wrong on his website. I was there, and lots of other people on here will also tell you that SCV won PRELIMS only at DCI Midwest in '75. Madison won FINALS. Madison didn't lose any other contests besides Whitewater PRELIMS that year.
Swine
Really... we shouldn't believe everything we read:) Regardless, Madison '75 was not undefeated.

Yes, a good indication that Gregg has SCV and Madison's scores reversed on that '75 DCI Midwest finals recap is that it shows SCV beat Madison in horns, and Madison beat SCV in percussion. Those stats are red flags.
Kyle B
Went with Cavs, although didn't Cadets have a few years before DCI?
Northern Thunder
Went with Cavs, although didn't Cadets have a few years before DCI? Until the 1982 Blue Devils went unbeaten, there hadn't been a major division unbeaten corps since the 1961 Cavaliers.
Dr.Mickey
Cavaliers. It was the Cavies at the height of the run. Without Lederhosen.
WestCoaster
Why are Cadets even on this list (never mind beating all the Blue Devils untouchable years!?)? I mean, come on. The poll asks for the *best* undefeated corps, how can they even be in the running when they were matched in score by some other corps? That's more like undefeated on a technicality! I guess you could say we defeated ourselves. Still, we didn't get beat by the other corps. We were matched, but still not beaten. Of course, I voted for 2000 Cadets.
