Will they hit it at prelims or finals? yeah can't get much closer without going over! Our show "The Concertmaster" really seems to be taking off....I know a lot of people around the country have not seen it yet so expect our press release with all three corps shows defined soon! Galen Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 It's the biggest weekend of the season this weekend- it's REGIONALS time! 4 BIG stadiums will host this season's regionals over the next 2 days. In the east, corps venture inside the bubble at Syracuse NY's Carrier Dome (adjust synth levels accordingly ). The warm, temperature-controlled atmosphere is bound to be a relief for those corps who have been slogging through snow and ice lately: In the south, corps travel to the Univervsity of Mississippi's Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford MS. This place looks like an ordinary college stadium, until you check out the second pressbox located in the endzone. Might not give the best view, but the drinks are supposed to be quite good. The midwest regional is being hosted at the University of Minnesota's shiny-new TCF Bank Stadium. Long before the DCI crowd gets there, DCPI will have laid waste to this place. Ceremonial demolition of the Humpydome to take place immediately following the announcement of scores on finals night. And in Dallas TX, Jerry Jones' personal shrine, the new Cowboys Stadium, welcomes in the western corps. Corps will enter the field through the same "Stadium Bar" level that the football teams do on gameday. Word is that any corps who hits the Jumbotron with a flag or rifle will automatically be DQ'd: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
