my wife is a gem.

she had a cousin who marched with a local corps so knew a little before we met.

my first birthday together she bought me 88 finals on dvd after asking a friend which year is my favourite and has bought a dvd as a filler every birthday and christmas since.

She's happily spent DCUK finals sitting next to me watching all the corps.

we went on a DCE roadtrip last year and she loved it.

this year she has agreed to go to the states for a month, with DCI finals as the main event.

when i put 80's Drum Corps on the car system she doesn't complain.

early last year she bought very large Chuck Mangione and Maynard ferguson pictures and insisted they got placed in the living room.

She hunted down a vintage Rudy Muck mouthpeice after hearing me talk about using one when i played soprano BITD.

i am the luckiest guy in the world with the most thoughtful and beautiful wife ever.

everyday i wake up, look at her next to me and thank him upstairs for blessing me.

enough of the soppy stuff, did I mention she looks like a young Jenny McCarthy? :tongue:

Great timing, my wife went with me to the Dixie Stinger show last night as my corps was performing. Well let me rephrase that... she went to the show site couple hours before the show started, hung around during some of our practice, talked to friends and saw what show set up looks like. What makes it more amazing is she has had multiple leg surgeries and uses a walker. :tongue: Top it off we sat in the front row as Bridgemen Alumni horns played from the floor a few feet in front of us. :tongue::tongue:

Will also be at DCA Weekend but she enjoys the social part more than three days straight of shows (counting Minis Friday night).

Best part is she never gives me crap about missing family things because og gigs or practice. :tongue:

My wife never got the chance to march, but she's still a huge fan. She has done 3.5 out of the last four summers as an admin or souvie staffer for the Crossmen. We get to spend the whole summer together driving the souvie truck around and having adventures.
