I met my girlfriend and now fiancée at a Cadets camp while she was auditioning (I was already in the corps). We started going out on finals night 2005...double win for me :tongue:

So, i think that obviously answers the questions... :tongue:

My wife doesn't really care for drum corps. She got more than enough of it when I was teaching back in the 70's. she has gone to one show this decade.

As long as I don't go overboard she doesn't mind me going to shows.

Just out of curiosity, is that her in the picture in your signature?

My ex tolerated my drum corps mania for a time. Never wanted to go to a show with me. Too bad for her because we all know once you see it live it's a whole different ball game!

My wife became a fan as I was marching before we started dating.

Almost right from the beginning she has been a fan of SVC and Madison.

Being a musician (violin & trumpet) herself, she has a great appreciation for what is happening on the field.

Phantom of this decade is a favorite as well but much to my dismay, she has never taken to my little corps from Concord.

Always comes to shows with me and always wants to know more but would not entertain the idea of a Finals week complete with Quarters, Semis and I&E.

That would just be too much...lol

No, she is one of my favorite singers, named Deng Li Jun (AKA Teresa Teng). Sadly, she passed away in 1994 from asthma attack.

In the 70's and 80's she was as big all over Asia as...oh...Barbra Streisand in the US. She was really the first pop superstar in mainland China.

She had a very pure and sweet voice, perfect for ballads.
