John M. Johnson Posted April 1, 2010 Share Posted April 1, 2010 The very FIRST Sun Devils baby was born on 3/31/2010 to our Executive Director and wife, John and Tammy Hoekstra. Rachel Renae Hoekstra will take her place in history as the first Sun Devils baby! She was born at 8:37am, 3/31/10. Weighing in at 6lbs 8 oz, 19 inches long. Tammy is doing great, and everything went perfectly. As an added bonus....one of the nurses is a band mom, and played Gainesville High School's (where John is the drill writer) Championship show from 2 years ago; Harmonic Journey. Please join us in welcoming Rachel to the world. And don't worry. Rachel already has her dot book and show memorized. She's good to go.
