Michael Boo
Just like the fans at Fenway respect and applaud the Yankees for their hard work and excellence???? The Boston Red Sox fans go to the games to see great games among giants in baseball. They of course want to see THEIR team win. I doubt that many Boston fans boo the Yankees due to philosophical differences. Lots of drum corps fans of course also want to see their "team" win. But being disrespectful to certain corps (as has been suggested by some) and by extension to the members accomplishes nothing.
Feathers Up
Just like the fans at Fenway respect and applaud the Yankees for their hard work and excellence???? Great comparison.. When drum corps members are being paid in the millions you may have a point.
Michael Boo
There's a difference between achieving excellence and buy it. Sometimes you can achieve excellence by buying it.

Just what we need...drum corps members getting their photos in the National Enquirer with Madonna.
chaddyt
Bottom line: Based on what we know of the show, it's going to rock.I hope all fans give their utmost respect and applause to the members for their hard work and excellence and leave any other statements to the Internet. That's one of my bigger immediate concerns with this whole G7 thing. Not to drag the thread off-topic, but I fear it could potentially "ugly" summer... fifer
I'm hoping they use the stiff precision of toy "soul"diers in their drill and guard moves. Maybe even a humurous bit clanking around like tin soldiers. This really has potential visually and musically as far as I can see! Good luck Cadets! Well from what I've seen from their latest fan network video, it looks like that's what they will have it it.
