Listening to some Milton Babbitt should help with that.

They have a SURPRISE ENDING. They are now going to yell: POULAN instead of Vanguard.

Fifth movement of Concerto for Orchestra....ambitious, excerpt worthy, will either make or break the show

some tremendous risks.....

From the mouth of my SCV child -

"Mom, we finished learning the closer yesterday and it's crazy!"

I'm going to the Walnut & Riverside show this weekend - can't wait to see the whole show!

The ending of Vanguard's show is the 5th movement of Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra.

If Lance is right about the ending being the first few minutes of the last movement and some of the end of that movement, then that will be extremely impressive on the field.

I'm not exactly sure on what parts they're doing, but I do know it's the last movement....the first few minutes and end just seem the most logical to me.

The standard excerpts...the good parts.
