wvu80
Of the shows I have seen live (ie, not the Blue Devils): 1. Madison (for the musical selections) 2. Bluecoats (for the drumming and overall show) 3. Crown (for the brass sound) 4. Cadets (for the marching and drill)

MN DCI Fan
I've seen no one live yet (until next weekend in Minneapolis), so these are based purely off of FN viewing - and I haven't seen everyone yet. So, disclaimers aside: 1. Bluecoats 2. Blue Knights 3. Cadets 4. Phantom 5. BAC 6. Pioneer HM: Crown, mostly because I love, love, LOVE Mahler 2. I also think it's great how many people are digging on the Blue Knights' show, when they've been a perennial "bore corps" for many folks for many years. luvah
From last's nights Kalamazoo show, the Cavies and Scouts--were the most entertaining. The scouts had the only show of the night that made musical sense to me. It was entertaining and tuneful-- and they we're wearing gauntlets! Awesome. I didn't like Phantom's horn book. Their soloist played the same solo like 10 times during the show. I don't think any of the horn arrangers have ever listened to choir music (remember, its a horn 'choir')--or studied counterpoint. No one has any contrary motion going on--its all just flat power cords --it doesn't sound like a horn choir. I hate to be a negative nancy but I was disappointed in the musical programs that I saw last night.
MikeN
As I get older, I find I care less and less about scores and rankings. After who wins the title, I could care less if you're 2nd, 3rd, 9th or 15th. Just entertain me. Corps this year that do entertain me, in order of preference - Cavaliers Carolina Crown Bluecoats Madison Scouts Phantom Regiment Glassmen Blue Knights Cadets Blue Stars Teal Sound Spirit Mike
