Hook'emCavies
WHAT?!? are you serious?she has a very obvious and qualifiable history of consistently lowering Regiment's scores as compared to her colleagues. it's sickening. she needs to quit if she can't be objective. Ok they are going to be in Houston now. It is over now for the bad judging I guess... However, I think you are out of line with this statement. Just keep in mind that all judges work very hard. (even when it seems that the scores drop)
chris ncsu
*sigh* Congrats to BD and to Cavies. Looks like Hop is trying to find places for some more effect in the show -- I hope they succeed. They have 3 weeks to figure out (whilst all the other corps are figuring it out, too!!).

(even when it seems that the scores drop) Not for BK.... they see the biggest Knight hater of them all in the fella whose last name rhymes with Gummly. Proven fact that he'll put them 1 pt. lower in whatever caption he judges. It's been the same even back to around the time I march. Maybe BK turned him down to march back in his day, ha ha ha ha. Oh well. Wes Perkins BK '97 '
ScribeToo
I think it's cute how fans know the names of the judges that "hate" their favorite. My corps is no different, I just think it's cute. Stef
saxfreq1128
I know it's two seperate shows but with so many corps performing I thought it'd be interesting to combine the scores from the two shows as if it were a big regional. 92.00 Blue Devils 90.30 The Cavaliers 89.35 Crown 89.05 Bluecoats 89.00 The Cadets 86.30 SCV 86.20 Phantom Regiment 85.35 Boston Crusaders 84.60 Blue Stars 83.50 Blue Knights 81.95 Madison Scouts 80.70 Glassmen 78.10 Troopers 78.10 The Acadamy 76.70 Colts 76.15 Spirit 75.45 Crossmen 73.95 Pacific Crest 72.35 Mandarins 71.20 Teal Sound 69.50 Pioneer 68.95 Cascades A lot of tight races in there.....can't wait to see how it all plays out! That's a really tough top 5-6. It would be insane if the Cadets actually got 5th with a show like that -- a show that'd be top 2 or 3 any other year. I totally agree. Old Hop has to be scatching his head. I personally love the Cadets show, and still consider it the #1 challenger to BD. BRASSO
WHAT?!? are you serious?she has a very obvious and qualifiable history of consistently lowering Regiment's scores as compared to her colleagues. it's sickening. she needs to quit if she can't be objective. ok... so judge Debbie Downer did Dallas for Phantom. We get it. Who knows, maybe she hates Phantom for some unexplained reason. These Corps get all sorts of judges in their draw. Phantom hit the jackpot 2 years ago when the roulette wheel dropped 2 of the best percussion judges at Finals into the right bin for Phantom Regiment. If Phantom wanted to pick 2 out of the many percussion judges in DCI for Finals in 2008, those 2 were it. They hit the jackpot. BD no doubt would have selected 2 other horses to run with, if given a choice on percussion judges to run with that night. Maybe Phantom is better off seeing their judge Debbie Downer for them at a regional now, and hope the roulette wheel drops another jackpot judge on Phantom come Finals. EVERY Corps has judges that they hope can lost on the freeway to the stadium the nite of the show. Relax. Phantom, like all these Corps, gets lots of future spins of the judge selection roulette wheel before the casino closes for the summer. I'm going to make a guess they won't be in 5th, come finals. 3rd or 4th, probably. I think they can take Bluecoats, and I think they can crack that top 3 and take Crown. CrunchyTenor
There is trackable proof that MC has scored Regiment lower than her peers do in whatever GE or Visual caption she judges. This goes back for decades, not just years. This isn't the first time she's been called out, and until she loses the bias against Regiment it will continue.
