I can tell you today, BD just has to walk on the field in 2 weeks and they've got a DCI championship.

And sadly...it's comments like this that fuel the anti BD contigent...

You guys act as if the crowd won't know who's going to win.

I can tell you that they don't think that. They respect the nature of competition and know from personal experience that it's never over until it's over!

"In second place, with a score of 98.6....9-8-point-6....The Blu"*sudden power failure*

Reminds me of high school marching band, when Nordonia, North Royalton, and Norton might all be at the same competition -- "and qualifying for state, Nor..."

I'd be happy if Brandt would learn to properly pronounce 'Indianapolis.'

Definitely! There's still a GOOD number of members marching from 2008 and even 2006

The audience at Finals usually are not noobs and have already been advised that the crowd is "blooing", not booing. Unless you happen to be my ex-wife, who every year without fail would glare at me when I let out my first "BLOO" of the season until she was reminded-usually by someone else in our group. My current wife "BLOOS" right along with me!

Not the lady sitting next to me in 2007. They couldn't understand why no one liked the Bluecoats. We had to explain to them the whole "bloooo" thing.

Incidentally, the funniest memory I have of 2007 is when the Cadets did their sound check, and the exact same lady said to me "Now I'm really confused. These guys aren't wearing blue at all."
