flammaster
OK, Santa Clara, a huge mea culpa. Wish my seat in Erie hadn't been so crappy, because as I suspected, it really interfered with my appreciation of your show. It's amazing. Not just intellectually stimulating, but pretty engaging too. I too love SCV! I have been waiting many years to see this by a drum corps. I love Bartok.
Joe Salvatore
the British show... Never forget on the west coast in 1989 after performing with SCV before Star... Gail ripped us and directed us to go watch Star as they will beat us tonight.

Tez
Is all this equipment new? Looks like it. What a giant expense for a one-time performance. Classic Star!! Someone said that their hornline is Crown's silver horns.
Joe Salvatore
How many people forget that Star's drumline was winning percussion until Finals night in 89? We beat them at every show we were at with them in 1989. We only lost drums to Cadets if I recall correctly. BigW
everyone buys success. It's knowing where to shop that's difficult. AMEN, Pete. Doesn't matter what kind of competitive activity you do, if you buy good stuff, it does get you x far. It's the y you talk about that made the difference in Star's success. mingusmonk
Someone said that their hornline is Crown's silver horns. No. A brand new Yamaha line. Percussion as well.
Nice Guy
No. A brand new Yamaha line. Percussion as well. Pretty good deal. If they don't keep them for more shows, re-sale will still make Yamaha money, even if used.
