blue blooded pirate
My prediction is simple... Every corps will develope a show, recruit members, learn the show, put it on the field, judges will give them scores and one will be called "Champion." Every organziation from top to bottom of every circuit will do the same thing. As of today, no corps has a show that is ready for the field in 2011. Each and everyone of them ended the same way - with the 2010 season behind them, while 2011 looms in the near distance. Right this very minute there is no 2011 Reading Buccaneers, 2011 MBI, 2011 Empire Statesmen, 2011 Fusion Corp, etc. The magna doodle has been erased. The Etch-A-Sketch has been flipped over and shaken. The iPod has been cleared. What makes the difference? The organization that puts it all together and the members that make it happen. Congrats to EVERY DCA corps for an exceptional 2010 season - and best of luck to all for an even better 2011.
Corps Lover
Another great season of all age drum corps... That's my prediction for 2011... OH... Can't forget... ANOTHER GREAT FINALS WEEKEND FULL OF LIVE COVERAGE FROM THE DCP TEAM!
BOSMarcher
I don't have a prediction (obviously), but I am hoping that Fusion Core makes the jump next year to Open! I think Bush proved this season that you can be competitive with a smaller hornline. We need some new blood in Open Class!

JoeDz
OK....... my "predictions" are as follows: 1. Bucs clean house, dropping corps size to Class A, which they've secretly coveted for the past 7 years. Sadly, an off-night places them fifth in prelims after an undefeated season breaking the longest winning streak in DCA history and an early return home. 2. After a succesful (financial and otherwise) season in G-7, The Cadets break away (leaving only G6) and enter DCA. They finish third in prelims and start the finals with a real "ON" first two minutes..... then a judge trips over an extension cord, knocking out the entire musical program for the final 9 minutes, dropping them to tenth in finals. 3. Skyliners return to competition with an all new Spanish theme. Opener of "traffic jam at a bull fight" is a disaster. Ninth place....just above Cadets. 4. Cabs re-visit 2005 "Passage To The Pyramid" and finish 7th, just as in 2005. 5. Reilly Raiders surprise everyone by finishing 8th with an "all Irish" musical show. 6. 6th place qualifier Preston Scout House returns home after prelims for a good night's sleep. They are not allowed back into the US for finals when USA severs ties with Canada at urging of a former Alaska governor. 7. Empire Statesmen show of "The Execution of Sacco and Vanzetti" is not as well received as usual, placing them 6th. 8. Hurcs finish 5th with their "Tribute to Polka" theme. 9. Alliance and CV merge into a "super corps," ala Rochester Grey Knight Crusaders. Their 2011 show "Songs of the Union Army," while unpopular all year long, finally gets judge support and 4th place. 10. Renegades switch to white unis and perform a pleasing and controlled "I married an Angel" show for third place. 11. MBI has a performance of a lifetime, scoring 99.866 for SECOND PLACE. Since Scout House didn't appear, the scores were announced starting in 10th place and ending with MBI on top (second place). Needless to say, fans were upset and felt this was a slap to DCA midwest. But.................. I may be wrong. Edited September 6, 2010 by JoeDz
