Favorite Moments

Recommended Posts

It would be easy for me to say everything was my favourite moment!

But I have to mention somethings,

- The crowd reactions at the Bridgeport show and at Finals.

- Getting to watching the Empire Statesmen rehearse and performing our shows to each other.

- All of the Empire Statesmen's show, proper class drum corps!

- Meeting loads of different people in other corps (going on for retreat was an experience itself)

- Sharing corps songs with the Kilties.

- Quality I&E performances.

- Great atmosphere on Friday night, getting to watch the Caballeros rehearse, the mass drumline etc

- Doing Britain proud!

- Sharing two weeks with a great bunch of people, living the dream!

I can't think of anything that wasn't my favourite moment.

The Pressbox. Much improved, especially the chairs :)

The Pressbox gang, always entertaining

Moon Pies and Goo Goo Clusters for all

MBI's Kashmir which has been stuck in my head all week at work

Everything Kidsgrove

Renegades, MBI, CV Soloists

Alliance drumline

Oz

Govies tune selection, always fun. And their DMs

Cracker Barrel and its restful rocking chairs

Alumni show. All the corps have stepped it up the last couple years.

Stadium staff. All very friendly and helpful.

Our own Dylan from SoCal Dream taking Mallets in I&E, what a welcome back to DCA for Dream!

Watching Kidsgrove, they really wowed the crowd

Let me jump on the band wagon for Statesmen, I was bowled over by their show. They combined 3 different versions of Wizard of Oz (Wizard of Oz, The Wiz and Wicked) seamlessly, and best use of guard ever! Can't wait for next year's show.

I enjoyed coming home and seeing my friends who I haven't seen since I joined the military in '82.....

For me, it HAD to be the HONOR of playing the Caballeros Alumni on the field on Sunday morning from my luxury suite, and then following it up by playing the Caballeros competing corps on the field at finals on Sunday night from the same place.

I have played the bull call literally thousands of times, but none meant more to me that those 2 calls!!!

and I had the honor of videotaping both. Was never that close to the Call when it was played before
