The sashes across the chest are goodness.

Jury is out on the drop sash. Maybe on the field they'll work better.

Someone in the uniforms 2011 photoshopped a cumberbun in the some gold color. This (to me at least) makes a huge improvement.

In response to HornsUp: I like Dreamsicles. I will know if I like the guard unis more when I see them in motion with equipment and the rest of the corps.

At least that gives the eye a reason to understand where the drop sash came from. Otherwise it's kind of like the bandannas that one guy on Idol always had in his pocket.

Ick, and double ick to the cummerbunds.

I'm pretty uninspired by their uniform choices since their return. There is so much historical inspiration they could draw from that I don't understand why the corps feels compelled to look like every other corps in the activity.

Could it not also be argued that the uniform choices since the 2007 have been a part of the return to competitiveness that took nearly a quarter century? I think that there is still more than enough historical inspiration in the new versions that most who follow the activity can recognize the Troopers and still appreciate their history.
