oldschool1180
This is not the first I've heard of low ##'s in Bush. I don't have any idea why they did not declare Class A if they are struggling that much for members. us bushwackers are to proud to give up we will take on anychallenge
2B or not 2B
us bushwackers are to proud to give up we will take on anychallenge GOOD, Glad to hear that. I am NOT a Bush Fan. Almost never like their show. BUT, Varity is an Important part of DCA. All Kinds, All Sizes, All Styles, are what " I " think makes DCA better in many ways over DCI.
LegalEagle50
us bushwackers are to proud to give up we will take on anychallenge So you consider going Class A to be giving up?
BOSMarcher
So you consider going Class A to be giving up? Sadly, I think that is what a lot of Open Class groups think.
oldephard
I think Bushwackers made the right choice by going Open Class. If they can make a late season push and knock off just one corps, they are in Open Finals. In Class A, they would have had to beat 7 corps to make it into Class A Finals. Much better chance of being in the Sunday night show this way, although it's still gonna be tough.

They also have to top all of the Class A corps...the top ten is top 10 overall, not just open.
bill
If I recall, that is not quite correct; the top 10 scoring North American corps are the DCA member corps (any class), the top 10 scoring Open Class corps do another run on Sunday evening; top 4 scoring Class A do another run Sunday as well. They also have to top all of the Class A corps...the top ten is top 10 overall, not just open.

oldephard
Exactly. 10 out of 11 open class will be in Finals, while only 4 out of 11 A class will get in. If I recall, that is not quite correct; the top 10 scoring North American corps are the DCA member corps (any class), the top 10 scoring Open Class corps do another run on Sunday evening; top 4 scoring Class A do another run Sunday as well.
