Jeff Ream
And for those of you who are technology-challenged, we released a carrier pigeon with the scores from the press box on Saturday. After they were kept in drum cases all day
Jeff Ream
If I understand your "description" correctly, then the melody you're talking about originally comes from España Cañi, written by Pascual Marquina Narro Affectionately referred to as the "Rumps" in DCA. Or #### #### #### same old #### #### #### lol Said with much affection too

cabalumnidrummer
This tune gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Saturday evening was a marvelous evening of drum corps...and one of the biggest highlights for me (in addition to the Balance in Blue, of course!), was the performance of the Caballeros Alumni. Always a treat to see and hear, and Cha-Cha-Cha Flamenco gets me every time. I hope it stays in your repertoire for as long as you're fielding a corps! Thanks, Tom! Jeff Ream
You know, I was hoping no one would go there, Jeff! LOL! I know, I know and I say it with love. But i can't count how many times when either field or alumni kick into it, I hear people sing it. then always stand up and go nuts when the pinwheel finishes the rotation
JimF-LowBari
You know, I was hoping no one would go there, Jeff! LOL! SING ALONG!!!! Just another corps story where my wife looks and me and says "You Didn't".... Sure beats not beating other corps and being ignored..... My fav was "Carmen" from a few years back. My sister and I wondered how the Hades the Rumps would get snuck in. Then we heard it during "Toreador" and got big smiles on our faces ("Oh... THAT'S how).
