There has been much discussion about Crown Guard placing 6th last weekend but I believe the top 4 in Color Guard are already locked up. Just My view! Once they finally realized the show wasn't over, they sit back down :) I love Crowns ending! But Blue Devils 1988 did it a little better ! Tez Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 I have to disagree with you - that piano sound the synth is producing is straight out of the Dayton Holiday Inn "Sunset Lounge", circa 1979. "Don't go changin'...to try and please me..." I don't understand..... that is a very accurate sample of a real piano. It sounds extremely authentic. BRASSO Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 Growing on me... love the sound... not a fan of the visual portion. Percussion and guard have been the "issue" if you want to call it an issue... Percussion front seems to be the weak link in percussion and the guard looked like they had a rough night... more drops than anyone else in the top 6. Agree. Crown is very entertaining this year in my opinion. Great brass charts. Their achilles heel might be their guard and percusssion line. If they improve here they have a shot of winning it all.
