kevingamin
Drum line is smoking tonight so far. Great decrescendoing roll by the snares. Love the Beddis drum book. Yeah, drums! Great feature! Tubas laying down a great bass line. Lots of featured soloists/duets in the opener.
kevingamin
Time to break out the APD of this show on the drive home. Spinning Wheel now up. Great take on this song.
kevingamin
Great solo rifle toss midfield during a break in the music. Some tough drill during Spinning Wheel, too. Love the 6/8 treatment of the piece.
kevingamin
Gotta clean up the drill leading into the park and blow. Horns aren't playing, so they can focus on the visual there more.
kevingamin
A unique take on Hallelujah. Takes me a minute to recognize it, then I wonder why I didn't. Baris on the chorus are very haunting, which this song almost demands.
kevingamin
Oh, nice gospel take on the melody, mellos. Great expression!
kevingamin
Also love the drums in the backfield, hands up to the sky during the big hit.
MikeZ
LOVE the opening warm-up from the Crossmen. I think this is the only on-field warm-up instead of a pre-show. Crowd likes it, too. Isn't it "Laura'sTheme" from Twin Peaks....or at least something from Twin Peaks. I am pretty sure Mr. Naffier used it as an on field warm-up for Colts in 98??? Z Fan of Chuck Naffier's horn books. kevingamin
Crowd really liked Hallelujah. May be the strongest part of the show at this point in the season. Very well performed.

When I heard he and Lee Beddis were returning to Crossmen this year, I may have squeeeed.
