azul Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 I'll bite 1. Cadets-This show has so much GE and demand I can't even fathom anyone else taking it 2. Cavaliers-Visual gimmicks 3. BD-They're clean, they're good, they're consistent but this season I like their music 4. Crown-Great brass sound! Too much cheese and blah drill. 5. Bluecoats-They'll bounce back after the ending changes are implemented. 6. Phantom-Emotional show but the visual demand isn't there. 7. Blue Knights-My favorite show from them since 06! This show makes me smile and feel good inside. 8. Blue Stars-So much to clean now but this show is just so cool! 9. SCV-The battery is great but the brass is lacking way too much for this late in the season. 10. Boston-Good show and a much improved performance group from earlier this season. But I feel they may drop. 11. Madison-GREAT MUSIC!!! Fix the drill design. 12. Academy-LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! I see it here and don't really care what anyone else says. This show is so entertaining! 13. SOA-Good corps. Clean show but not clean enough to get into saturday night 14. Glassmen-They always tend to clean up at the end but won't be clean enough come semis. 15. Troop-Love this show but don't see it higher than here 16. Bones- Way better show/corps than 2010. Love Hallelujah! 17. Pacific Crest-This show has a lot of potential to really turn some heads. Hope this happens. 18. Colts-Really rough start to the season and think that the corps struggles might unfortunately continue throughout this season. Too tired now. It's too bad that a drum corps can't perform better then another and move up in the standings because of some unwritten rule. The same rule that makes my prediction funny to you, right Lance? The same rule that makes my prediction funny to you, right Lance? drum corps can and do perform better than others and move up and down in the standings because of the actual rules. as evidence, one need look no further than both regionals so far. it's funny to me that anybody would predict bd in 5th. sorry if that offends you.
