Kamarag
Buccaneers 77.700 Caballeros 73.050 Fusion Core 67.750 Carolina Gold 65.800 Windsor Regiment 59.350 Compare to last year (2011): 1. Buccaneers 79.05 2. Caballeros 72.55 (0.2) 3. Carolina Gold 70.50 4. Fusion Core 70.15 (0.2) 5. Windsor Regiment 65.30 (0.2) 6. Sunrisers 57.85 (2.2) For the record, I thought all of the scores were about three points low, across the board. They started low with Windsor (I had them around a 61-62) and Reading should have been a high 79 or low to mid 80. The spreads were about right except for Cabs, who I had at about 3 points down to Bucs. I look forward to seeing the recaps on this one. I will have my review posted in a day or two. Right on the money with your assessment. Looking forward to reading your review. Quick reaction IMO: -Bucs were amazing, havent lost a step. -Cabs looked much better than expected. Much better than last years program (anyone get any pics of the new drums??) -Fusion, nice show. Thought they would have been much bigger given the talk during the off season. - Carolina Gold, always a good group. Going to challenge for Class A crown I think. - Windsor, great to see them stronger in year two Love how drum corps is becoming the Garden States biggest asset. They can be found unaltered in the Wildwood prediction thread. I predicted these scores on June 12th. http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/151716-wildwood-predictions/page__st__20 Buccs 79.86 CAbs 75.37 Fusion 65.17 CG 62.84 WR 60.28 Lets see. I had the baseline right!!! I had the order right!!!!!!!!!! Pattern???? Why yes there is. I had Bucs over Cabs by +4.49 points. It was actually +4.65 spread. .16 difference in my prediction. It Don't get much closer than that for a opening season score. :):):):) I had Fusion over Gold by +2.33 It was actually a +1.9 spread Less than half a point. .43 to be exact. I predicted WR score by less than a point. Really that was the hardest score to come up with considering they did not have 6 year prior score to work from. But there is a pattern to work from there. Vote all the negatives you want to but there IS a mathematical bases for prior years scores that factor into current years scores. Especially early season. How else do you think I came so close?????? . :):):):):):):) Edited June 17, 2012 by camel lips
BigW
A couple of people here got uppity when I said how clean FC was and how they musically compared to some of the top corps in an earlier thread. The brass and ensemble numbers between FC and Cabs weren't all that far apart. The way the numbers read, Cabs percussion is getting it done, keep it rollin'!
Jeff Ream
and as proven a few weeks ago, it meant nothing as the season wore on

Screeaamer
Looking good Darren!!!!! Also if you look behind Darren to his right shoulder, Christine and Keenan (Also Baritone players) have their uni tops with the black back facing the camera. Bobby Jones and Lois Teirno along with all of the outstanding crew at Stanbury Uniforms have done an excellent jobs with our fashion forward updated design! Photos of the show are up on corpsreps.com, with clear views of all the competing corps and the exhibitions. Cabs' new drums look great, as do the Bucs.' Some friends didn't believe me when I said Bucs' uniforms were new. Changes are there, but subtle. Very nice! Same for Windsor Regiment, with color change on the sash that runs through the jacket -- subtly different, and very complimentary to the new guard outfits.
