Cadets Louisville SNAFU

Recommended Posts

So apparently Crown has been dumped from a contracted rehearsal/housing site in Louisville at the direction of the institutions football coach. Anyone know any details? I'm bored and may want to write some letters or make some phone calls.

From The Cadets FaceBook page:

"CHANGE --- The Louisville Football coach has had his fill of drum corps .. so our signed contract for the stadium has been pulled. We are looking for an alternative stop between Western Carolina and Lisle, Il -- perhaps Indy."

Here's hoping Louisville loses every game this season!!

lol they probably will, Charlie Strong is an idiot.

Maybe try WKU in Bowling Green for a Kentucky stop? They've got a great stadium for watching corps, the stands are right on the field and go STRAIGHT up.

EDIT: Bloomington would be great as well.

I wish I could give Charlie Strong a red negative . . . Bush league.

Crown is in AL today ... Cadets are "looking" for a field as we speak according to the FB post ... but I do not think it is for today, as they too are due in AL this afternoon ... it seems to be later in the season because they were just in Louisville on Sunday and are south bound for the next few days.

Just sent an email to the PR contacts for Cardinal Football. I used the word "Classless" when referring to old Chuck. I on the other hand, was full of class when explaining how bad this stunt they pulled is to the corps.

I will let you all know if I get a response, but don't hold your breath!

Apparently, my email was forwarded to Col. K.C. Scull, director of events and scheduling at the stadium. He will respond to me shortly.
