Popular Post mboogey73
Yeah, yeah you never know, but it's either Crown or BD ftw. This is not a revelation by any means. I think Regiment could make a push but will come up short. Cadets the same. The rest won't present any threat. Really comes down too rather or not BD can keep the gap in percussion score big enough to stay on top. I think Crown will pass BD finals night. As a BD guy I don't like too say that, but that's the reality. Crown will win their first title and it will be well deserved. JamMan
Phantom can add a kicker, as could Cadets. Don't count them out. However, is anyone surprised by this? Couldn't you see this coming in the off-season? Also, I don't see BD getting beat. The things Crown beat them in was by a small amount, but the things BD beat them in were quite large. Yes, Crown beat them in brass, but that's the thing they put most of their time into. BD works on everything, so they don't need to refocus their efforts, they just improve across the board all season.

theCHEZman
The first regional last year had Cavies almost 2 points in first place and the forth place corps which was unremarkable in all captions score wise ultimately won. End of July gives us a clearer picture after rewrites, cleaning etc.
CQuinn
BD gets beat tonight I don't think they will be beaten at all this season.
Kamarag
I think Devils and Crown will trade back and forth over the next few weeks. Both corps have amazing shows, and both corps would be deserving champions. I really like Cadets show a lot, much to my own surprise, I just don't think it's a contender. Cadets are easily a solid third though. Phantom has an enjoyable show, but I don't think it has the legs to contend in August. I suspect they peak, especially visually, sooner rather than later.

So I guess during sectionals the colorguard and percussion just sit on their hands?

I suspect they peak, especially visually, sooner rather than later. Phantom has a great show. Will it win? No - but they have conquered a few off-field opinions regarding losing key Drum/Brass people. I don't think they will peak though. Every time I see the big push onward in Nessun Dorma I get the feeling it was a stop gap until near the end of the season. At one point the big push itself will become one big company front.
