Our final corps of the evening is the Blue Devils from Concord, California. Their 2012 program is entitled "Cabaret Voltaire" and consists of:

There's a guy in a Crossmen jacket who is Italian sitting near me. Just asked a kid if he'd like to get his picture taken with an Italian guy. Who wouldn't?

I will be shutting down and packing up as soon as BD is finish as I do need to get home and sleep before work tomorrow, just so you are aware.

I like the individual movement the horns do during the opening Harmonielehre statement, very chaotic, as dada tries to be.

The guard uniforms have a little throwback to 2010 look to them, don't they, at least during the start of the show.

A snippet of "Rhapsody in Blue" can be heard in BD's San Antonio show; can't remember exactly when, but it's in the mallets, I think.

I also really enjoy their no holds barred interpretation of Children's Hour of Dream.

Very solid drum feature.

Is this fanfare intentionally almost, but not quite, like 20th Century Fox?

And now for my second favorite moment of the show: Bela and Bird in Bb. So freakin' clean.
