kevingamin
you don't have to give so many updates. Enjoy the show! Ahh, what you don't know is that I use these updates as notes for when I write my DCW review of the show. There's a method to my madness. kevingamin
Nice bass solo to open the second piece. Now snares get their moment, then tenors.
kevingamin
The barker does some more talking between songs but I couldn't hear him over the crowd. A good problem to have.
kevingamin
Lovely mello/bari duet to open the slow portion of the show.
kevingamin
The balance and blend of the horn line is also much improved since the start of the season. Every section has presence without overpowering one another. Kudos to the members and the horn staff.
kevingamin
Nice pit interlude before the horns come back in. Tubas get a nice moment with some swing playing and great dynamic contrast in their part. Guard poles are curved and very shiny, very steampunk, if I may say. kevingamin
You know what? I didn't think this at the start of the season, but this show is starting to say "Troopers" to me. I'm getting it.
