Massillon...the final tune up!

Costume change time. Nice job by the pit getting their change in, too.

Another lovely baritone solo as we move into the finale of the show. LOVE the red uniforms on the guard and pit. Very striking and the plumes on the corps add to the effect.

Yeah! Big sound as they hit the company front! Now for the big finish.

Mellophones are REALLY working it during the final moments of the show, just as effective as wailing out a giant single note while stagger breathing.

Crowd on their feet! Excellent job, BK!

I think BK's brass has a very nice refined sound this year. I really like it after hearing them in A-town and think it is spectacular with a lot of clarity. That said, my only complaint is it just seems they are not playing enough during their show.

Next on the field is INT from Podunk, Iowa. Their 2012 program is entitled "HOT DOG!!" and consists of:

4'33" by Cage, John

Sounds of Silence, The by Simon & Garfunkel

Killing Me Softly by Flack, Roberta

Come On Feel The Noise by Quiet Riot

Bk had a great show! It's really coming together out there for these kids. More people seem to be getting into the show at every event I have seen them.

It's hard not to get into the Firebird, especially when said bird is not from around here.

Men are from Mars, women from Venus. Where does this avian creature come from?
