Guard Diva
I believe that is for the Colt Cadets. IIRC, this is the first time they are getting brand new unis instead of hand-me-downs from the A corps. The colts and colt cadets should switch!
crownisking
1369849071[/url]' post='3263398']regarding the Mandarins who are rumored to be getting new uniforms (again!) The DCI video montage of corps doings from Memorial Day has this http://www.dci.org/n...48-7d9330b1cbe9 for the Mandarins' submission. There is a trumpeter in a navy blue outfit with golden yellow pipings and a white hard hat with plume similar to the British police in their colonies such as Jamaica, Hong Kong (before return to China), etc. Is this the Mandarins' new unis? They are not mandarin orange. for Surfers, they are all attired for their parade and ceremonies in the navy blue uniforms and white shakos they wore for their 2011 competitive season (much more formal than 2012.) 2013??? No. If that guy even marches with the Mandarins, he's definitely not wearing their uniform. That's most likely an ROTC uniform.

Guard Diva
and what Hopkins announced previously for the Maroon & Gold club donors, and then Fb for 2013 Cadets' guard (female version) Male version wasn't ever shown. . Are Cadets doing a circus show with the guard as stilt walkers?
drilltech1
Are Cadets doing a circus show with the guard as stilt walkers? or maybe it's that oft repeated guard instructor comment about feeling the equiptment as being the extention of the body... :cool:/> Edited May 29, 2013 by drilltech1

The short blurb on the Mandarins' site mentions that he is an alum, but doesn't say anything about if he's performing as a representative of the corps or if the uniform he is wearing belongs to them.
