Spirit is just absolutely killing it this year! Cavies... not so much. I want to love it. I really do. The concept is there, the music is there, everything looks like it should be a classic Cavaliers show but the drill and execution just isn't. I actually think this year is a little rougher execution wise than last year. It's so sad to see one of the strongest corps struggle so hard but it is what it is. Out with the old and in with the new I guess. I won't count them out quite yet, but needless to say it's going to be another rough year. On a brighter note, this is great for spirit and opens an opportunity for them to really become a lasting finalist corps.
