"DCI All-Star Review," Bowling Green, OH

Funny thing while I was driving to the show tonight. As I was listening to the Field Pass episode about Crown, I passed by a house where a couple of kids were playing on a trampoline. Talk about timing.

When the Cadet's Battery comes from the end zone toward midfield and there is a huge distance between them and the pit reminds me of 05 when during the ballad the drum line starts midfield and trucks all the way to the back left. Both times the battery and the pit are are a great distance apart but right on as far as playing together - amazing!!

It IS the second day of summer. Sunset in about 20 minutes.

A lot of "Nice!" and other appreciative sounds from the crowd during the percussion feature on the mufflers and other metallic instruments.

Awesome effect with the Frisbees flying over the corps like shooting stars!

Drum Major Linda Harvey gives a quick Vulcan salute after her official salute. Too quick for me to get a shot of it.

Singers up front singing Major Tom. Whoever the bass is has a killer voice.

You mean this guy?

That's just out of this world....

I see what you did there.

Also, how many of you thought Major Tom (sorry, that was Space Oddity earlier) would get on the field?

The lone piano at the start of the Lost segment of the show is very haunting, as is the melody once the horns pick it up.
