There are some things I could pick on, but it's the 1st week of performances for most. So there really isn't much I need to hit on that wont be fixed within the next couple weeks. I do want to make some comments about the Blue Devils though! Their show is absolutely mesmerizing. Top to bottom they are selling this Fellini themed show with such amazing detail and excellent execution. Now to my one and only irritant. During their second number where the stages are brought together to make a "run way" on the 45 yard line, there is a male color guard member who is so distracting I could not focus on the beautiful music being created. He was walking in such an odd way, I had no clue what was going on. It truly ruined the show for me. If there is anyone who can clarify what this is supposed to signify, please let me know. About BD, I definitely need a few more takes to figure out what's happening in this show. Call me a simpleton, but I just didn't get it.
