N.E. Brigand
Awesome that the Northwest corps are doing so well this year, was kinda worried about the Cascades after last year, but they blew past any expectations I had. Videos I've seen of the Columbians were VERY impressive as well! And of course Oregon's continuing their WC rise. On the other hand, Spokane Thunder were scheduled to make their first trip to Open Class championships in five years, and then they went dark. Kamarag
What happened to Mandarins hornline? They sounded great in Sacramento. Is the weather there that hard on tuning? Or maybe just the stadium? I'm watching on a 15 min delay so I don't get any skipping or stalls so far. Could be the audio set up they are using in SA. Everyone, even PC, sounds subdued. It's almost like the audio engineer is using noise gates and compression a lot more than he should.... They sounded a million times better in Denver live last week, went back and watched the VOD from Denver, everyone sounded worse online than in person. Kamarag
Is it me, or does even the commercial break stuff sound muted and diffused? I'm listening via a pro audio set up.... Edit: The DSI promo they just ran sounded fine, very punchy. The DCI DVD spot before it sounded awful. loopin' froot loops
I'm not the biggest fan of narration when it's over used, but does anyone else think Jersey Surf's show might actually work better with a little narrative to help the "Pay it Forward" theme come across better? Absolutely agree here. 100%.
