2014 Drum Corps International World Championships World Class Finals

Recommended Posts

Kevin's comment about the rewind drill in BDB's show made me think of something. Could the B corps be used as a beta test, proof of concept, platform for the "A" corps? Especially now that the Open Class corps are judged on the same sheets as World Class. "Hey, try out this rewind concept in your show this year. If it works as planned, we'll really expand on the concept and take it to the next level."

Now THAT is how you make a statement, BDB! I'm betting you enjoyed that show big time.

Wow. What can one say. BDB deserves their placement.

That being said, time to rethink the size and scope of Open Class

Patria, the drum corps from Guatemala, is getting recognition for making the trip.

Well, BDB has the limited schedule most Open Class corps use. The difference is they maximize their resources, much like the A corps.

They'd have to rethink the size and scope of World Class. Open Class doesn't have enough corps to do anything other than what they're doing now.
