kevingamin
Trap set opens with an nice groove as the horns come front and work the crowd. EVerybody is clapping around me. Horns have some drill and can wail!
kevingamin
This have a similar feel to a FutureCorps performance. Drill is pretty much between the 40s with the pit players just in front of the front hash.
Hook'emCavies
Hope they have a great run tonight! Really digging the show and that brass line is getting better quick! I think that horn line sounds very good. I listened to a clip on YouTube and I am loving that overall tone. They should be a very very very good horn line by the end of the season.
kevingamin
Trumpet solosts trading off during the opener, one of which hits a note that the crowd loves.
kevingamin
Three trumpets, two mellos/marching french horns, two baritones, one tuba, and a sax player in the winds (this is SoundSport, remember). Trap set, mallet player, bass guitar, and synth player in the pit.
kevingamin
Uptown Funk for the closer. Crowd is clapping along. Very strong playing from all members. There was some flubbing early on during some particuarly difficult licks, but you can tell this group is putting the work in.
kevingamin
That performance definitely warmed up the crowd!
