OnMyMind
Go ahead, slaughter me now and throw me to the wolves. But that gap between Cavies and Phantom is a shame from Marie on GE 1. Conversely, the gap above Cavies to Bluecoats was a total swing and miss. Just 0.4 from Bluecoats, yet they are 1.1 ahead of Phantom??? Yeaaahhhhh. I'm going to go ahead and take Dave Carbone and the rest of the ENTIRE panel here for the more reasonable gaps between Coats and Cavies across the board. I know she has that soft spot for Cavies, but come on now. As much as I and everyone else loves Marie, this is her 61st year in the activity (not her age, but her involvement as a member, designer, instructor, judge, etc). She started in 1954. She was first assigned to a DCI World Championships panel in 1976. This is the 40th freaking season since she first judged a DCI Championships... Hall of famer, incredible lady, advocate, and professional presence in this activity. You couldn't thank anyone more for their service than Marie. But there is a time (for all of us, really) to step aside when the time is right... and that time has now passed. JMHO. Cavies have more depth and content than Bluecoats. Anyone can play something...click a button and loop it. Don't get me wrong...I like Bluecoats show, but they do not have the depth to hang on later in the season. Should be interesting this season throughout the entire top 12. I also thin SCV will plateau!! ;)
Herk
I read somewhere...maybe it was in this thread...that PR just traveled across the country. I suppose that affected their performance a bit. Even so, I'm surprised at their score.
