SFZFAN
Flamm has a kid in BD so I'm pretty sure he's seen SCV, BK, BD, and Phantom a couple times. But not at family night.

wilme861
Cadets are still my favorite this year and most years but if I was still marching, SCV is where I would go! That staff is awesome!
flammaster
I trust Colin McNutt. Met him in 92 at the Pavilion show after they played. (SCV) I really think now it's just a 5 way tie on which style you like best or who is on the most that day. Cadets: ballsey SCV: refined Bluecoats: solid BD: slick BK: precise

Jeff Ream
Although the consensus seems to be narrowing to a few select nominees, one poster does make an apt distinction: by what standard are these ensembles being judged? Best talent of members? Best book by arranger? Best execution of given book? Best integration/musicality of the front ensemble into the show? Best facials and other body work for Blair TV? yes
derek.smith
1 Bluecoats 2 BK
jwillis35
Not a great judge of percussion on field. I'd say overall battery strength is a toss-up between SCV and Cadets. Bluecoats and BD will also be in the mix. Any one of 4 could win come Finals. Nobody loses, not the fans or the corps. My favorite tuning (to my untrained percussion ears) is probably Bluecoats or SCV.
