Things to do in Indy

Recommended Posts

We always go to RAM for pre-finals food and drink!

And for your literary pleasure, the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library: http://www.vonnegutlibrary.org/

Hey! I am a member of the Vonnegut Library! I joined last year for a year membership, but on my card it says expires 8/9/2014, so I guess I actually bought a 1 day membership!

This is a great resource.

A ton of new breweries/distilleries have been opened since 2014.

Definitely worth a visit - less than a mile from the stadium with easy access using the bikeshare.

LaPeep is great for breakfast and drum corp conversation, and Goose the Market has an outstanding Deli and great craft beer.

There's a 5k on Saturday morning. Inspire Arts/Music (Boston Crusaders) is planning event. It's a beautiful walk (for me) along the winding waters not too far from Military Park.

I'll be running it! Ok, mostly running. We should all wear DCP shirts. Are there DCP shirts?

2 years ago my husband and I did a brewery/beer bus tour. There are 2 - 3 companies in Indy that have these tours; it was about $30 per person and took about 3 hours. They drive, you drink. Lots of fun.

Absolutely. It's a really fine art museum set in a beautiful park NW of downtown. When I was there a couple of years ago it was donations only, but they've unfortunately implemented a standard paid admission. Still worth it, if you like your art in forms other than performing.
