2015 Drum Corps Associates World Championships Finals

Recommended Posts

I know there was a huge gap between Bucs and the rest of the field yesterday, but that was yesterday. I think there is an outside chance that Cabs could do to Reading what Reading did to them last year. I can't say it WILL happen, but...

Wouldn't surprise me. Happened to Cabs in 86 btw.

You mean rob them of their first championship in over 10 years?

All joking aside, I think the Bucs probably have it in the bag, but I could be wrong. Their program is just so great. I wouldn't be surprised if the gap between Cabs and C2 narrows or even flip flops. This has been such a great year in drum corps!

It would absolutely shock the hell out of me and ANYONE who follows modern drum corps. This show was a wrap after the first 1:30.

lol...okay VOR. Look below you know who I"m rooting for and I freely admit I'm a homer.

Oh and btw I see a minimum 6 shows a year between DCI and DCA so I'm pretty much up on "modern" drum corps. Just made the reference in a historical sense. Ok?

Carolina Gold is now performing their exhibition. I always wonder how much of this performance is motivated as a way to say to the judges "you sure you made the right call?".

With respect to Carolina Gold and any other 11th place finishes, I think it is really dumb to have the 11th place corps get to go on finals. Either have a cut-off or don't. What do you tell 12th place? You can play during intermission? That's like having 13th place play before DCI retreat.

I believe there is a reason they're performing once again.

The only movement I would make is Cabs over C2 and narrow the gap between both to the Buccs.

I agree, but also feel Kidsgrove may have moved up, too..... as with DCI, it's easier to say moving up, but very difficult to say who would drop to to vacate the slot. WHAT A YEAR FOR DRUM CORPS !!!!!

I "guess" I'm calling

1. Bucs

2. Cabs

3. Cadets 2

4. Kidsgrove

5. Minnesota

and in Class A, same 1-2 as yesterday......
