BK moved all of their pre-show stuff from Stanford and, last night, had all of that as a a timed portion of the show. This is so they would be above the minimum time and would receive a score from DCI. They were told otherwise that if their show was under time, they would not be scored. Source: overheard a BK staff member talking about this last night at Brooklyns to one of his buddies. Thanks for that tidbit of information! Very interesting. Not only is the percussion strong but so is the horn line. Seems like their best horn line since 2013. IMO Agreed, except I think it might be their best brass line since 1999.
