It's absolutely phenomenal storytelling without being too literal It's really impressive that the designers trusted their audience to essentially tell the story to themselves, without having to beat them over the head with it. That is one incredible list I can embrace. Thaks for ALL the reminders.......I so concur with The Academy's 2015 and this years 2016 "Drum Corpse Bride".....but I would also include their 2014' "Vanity Fair" as a story telling "Masterpiece'. Their developing "British flag" tarp, the entire length of the football field was, for me anyway, one of the visual highlights of the season. Salute! Pathways could be interpreted as someone trying to find their way through life with the many Pathways set in front of them. Machine could be taken as a conformity story.
