But more likely, since this is DCI's version of the Master's, they likely keep it DCI only. It's not a big deal...it will all work out in the wash. Just curious if it was even an option for Corps to perform for "comments only" when they are not with DCA judges on a DCA sheet. The month of August should sort it all out hopefully. The scores for DCA corps at DCI shows are not factored into the seedings. It's the one highest score of the season for any given DCA corps at any given DCA-sanctioned show. So... you're right, those DCI shows are basically a performance opportunity for the all-age corps (perhaps giving them a chance to show the all-age product to fans who might not be familiar with it), and a chance for the corps to get input from the DCI judges.
