(an entire country that did not see one of its own) Nice going NBC !!! Major networks are no longer able to cover events such as this. Ghost Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 RFD-TV (345 on Directv) had shorter breaks, but their picture was so 1970's and there was no way my wife wasn't going to see the parade in HD. shofmon88 Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 Watched the KTLA coverage here in Australia. Thought they did a good job, though Vanguard didn't appear for very long. They do have a "band cam" on their Facebook that provided commentary-free coverage. The volume wasn't great, but you could hear SCV's full number! jwillis35 Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 You'd think the last band/corps in the parade would get some preferential treatment. In the Macy's parade that is the "honor" position as you bring in Santa. Usually Tournament of Roses Parade does a fantastic job of showcasing the bands. Not as good this year.
