Watching Matt Harloff work is a real treat. The kids were ushered inside the cafeteria after they got done tuning and proceeded to work on more breathing exercises and cleaning up some horn horn moves while waiting for the storm to pass. After about 35 minutes of downtime, the kids got back into their top half uniforms and started warming up inside the cafeteria. Man does that sound reverb nicely. Got to hear them play a couple of pieces from their show and all I can say is holy crap! Crown had a very good run tonight, the show is coming together quite nicely. Lots of additional layer is being added all the time, and it sounds like there's still much more to come. It's a completely different show from where it was just three weeks ago at the premiere. Newseditor44 Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 As for the storm, it was a typical summer thunderstorm. Passed by in about an hour. I wouldn't say it was any worse than any other storm during the summer but there was a lot of lightning with it. The field was pretty wet for the Cavies, Cadets and Crown.
