Good selection of beers I like (I like the darker ones -- no lites for me!). Another recommendation is Tavern on South. They seem to have a rotating list of specials. Last time it was the tuna -- awesome. Warning -- the local Steak 'n Shake near the stadium is usually packed after Finals with drum corps kids. I'm huge into sours and barrel aging as my go to first try. If a brewery can knock those styles out I then want to try their Hefe, IPA, Brown, Amber, etc. Know of any Indy sour specialists? Not many positive reviews on the beers, have you had any? Washington. state -- That I don't know. We usually make a trip to RAM each trip to Indy. I've never had any issues with the craft beers and I will get craft beers over brand name any day of the week.

I'm happy if I can just get a beer I can't see thru. LOL!

Might be -- if I recall correctly, they had about 6-8 craft beers on tap. Could be wrong.

I never knock anyone for the beer they like. We all have different taste buds and different experiences with even the same beer. A beer someone says they like is worth trying at least once.
ajlemm
About the question regarding the Ram. Yes, apparently it's a chain out of Washington, which I was unaware of. I've never had any problems there and they had a decent red ale and a tasty double IPA last time. I think they only serve their own beers, but I don't totally remember.

Anyone know if there is a walkable route to the stadium or is a Lyft or Uber going to be the best plan? It's walkable, maybe 15 minutes at a casual pace. And you'll like not having to bother with taxi or Uber/Lyft. It's right next to the JW Marriott, with good eats and drinks. If it rains you get almost all the way to Lukas Oil via enclosed walks and the convention center. Good overall location. Enjoy Indy and the shows. Sun King looks like a really solid choice though it is just a brewery, if you're around there is a beer on my tab for you.

Appears to be that they make their own beers more locally, so what you get in each different state changes. Worth a trip if I am also hungry and have enough time. Sun King look great though.
