Tim K
Read an interesting article in "The Boston Globe" this morning about a creative idea that Salem High School had for commemorating the 325th anniversary of the Salem Witch Trials--they recreated a witch trial. The article credits Cynthia Napierkowski, the school's band director, borrowing an idea suggested by composer Key Poulan a few years ago. Not sure of how similar SHS's show was to Boston Crusaders. The article was great publicity for Salem High's band, which has been very good and pretty large for a number of years, and school music programs do deserve a shoutout.

ANDRÉ FEAGIN https://bostoncrusaders.org/2017/11/gino-cipriani-brass-team-welcome-t-andre-feagin/ This news ( Feagin hire )was already posted a few days ago on the DCP " 2018 Staff Announcements " thread here on DCP.. That said, perhaps fans/ alums of Boston missed it being posted on there , so I'm pleased to see it posted here again on this 2018 Boston thread. These are both very talented, and outstanding additional 2018 staff hire additions for Boston this off season. BRASSO
The Boston Crusaders Sr. Corps, along with several other Corps, performed yesterday in Plymouth, Ma. for that town's annual Thanksgiving Parade, and then, as their custom, along with other Corps did a standstill exhibitiion that evening in one of the town's halls. The Boston Crusaders Sr. Corps is still going strong since its formation in 1990. Edited November 19, 2017 by BRASSO
