RetiredMusTeach Posted August 9, 2017 Share Posted August 9, 2017 Whoever is Southwind’s horn line arranger did a phenomenal job showcasing a very talented group of horns. I have been puzzling over their score of 68 last night, which seemed way too low for me, considering the musical feast we were treated to. All I can figure out is that visually the show is just not in the same league as the top 5 who put together some complex visual eye candy on the field. Well choreographed with fun movement accents. Pleasantly surprised by color guard work so far. Again, quite a screamer in the midst. Varied music book. Wow. Impressive job!!!
