Except that its not unusual at all see lots of Corps scores actually go down from one show to the next, each and every season too.. DCIdad Posted June 23, 2018 Share Posted June 23, 2018 (edited) Okay couldn't help myself. 5 WC corps competed in this event last year and this. Here is the movement in their scores year over year. Blue Devils: -0.45 Vanguard: +0.65 Blue Knights: +0.65 Academy: -2.1 Mandarins: +2.45 Certainly that does indicate significant movement for the Mandarins relative to the other 4 corps from last year to this, right? Still a large gap between them and BD, SCV and even BK but maybe they are closing ground somewhat. Although that's only a starting point for the season, and how each corps moves from this point will be the real key. Side note: Ike Jackson told the squad last weekend that they are "one of the big boys now". Not sure if they're fully there yet, but at least knocking on the door.
