who were the row of folks at finals on the 50 yellow shirts?

I was just thinking how does most know the difference, I mean Japanese if it is Hiragana / Katakana is identifiable as Nihon. But Kanji is shared by China - Japan - Formosa - parts of asia. But if it was Thai - Malay - philipp - Indo - French Indochina etc. that would be a big difference. Not that anyone would study Asia or anything like that. 

As you say it was English so that should tell the whole story. 

I'm recommending a special council to get to the bottom of this participation of south east asians in the audience of the DCI finals week. :united:

Asian Audience Gate -Just not the gate on the concert side of LOS special council access only. Some badges may have been written in "Indo-philipp-thai" that is only spoken on the concert side.

I remember that an Indonesian corps performed in DCI four or five years ago, and the next year a Thai corps was announced as coming but those plans fell through.
